BIOGRAPHY:
I currently provide In-Home Lactation Consults and
teach private Pre-natal Breastfeeding and Newborn Care classes.
I began teaching in 1991, including Childbirth Preparation, Baby Care, and Breastfeeding classes.
I have taught at several facilities in Southern California, including; Saddleback Memorial Medical Center,
Irvine Regional Hospital (now Hoag Irvine), and South Coast Medical Center (now Mission Laguna Beach).
Prior to my involvement in perinatal education I was a practicing Orthopedic Physical Therapist for 12 years.
I am married to my husband Tom since 1983 and we lived in Aliso Viejo, CA
for 33 years before temporarily relocating to Rancho Santa Margarita, CA in 2020.
In 2022 we moved permanently to Indianapolis, IN.
Together we have 3 children, born in 1990, 1993, and 2003, and a family dog.
Outside of family, parenting, and perinatal education, I enjoy cycling, hiking, 1/2 marathons,
weight-lifting, tennis, oil painting, making jewelry, and cheering for the UCLA Bruins.
