BIOGRAPHY:
I currently provide In-Home Lactation Consults and
teach Pre-natal Breastfeeding and Newborn Care classes at
Beach Cities Midwifery & Beachside Birth Center in Laguna Hills, CA.
I began teaching in 1991, including Childbirth Preparation, Baby Care, and Breastfeeding classes.
I have taught at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center, Irvine Regional Hospital (now Hoag Irvine),
and South Coast Medical Center (now Mission Laguna Beach). Prior to my involvement in
perinatal education I was a practicing Orthopedic Physical Therapist for 12 years.
I am married to my husband Tom since 1983 and we lived in Aliso Viejo, CA
for 33 years before relocating to Rancho Santa Margarita, CA in 2020.
Together we have 3 children, born in 1990, 1993, and 2003, and a family dog.
Outside of family, parenting, and perinatal education, I enjoy cycling, hiking, 1/2 marathons,
weight-lifting, tennis, oil painting, making jewelry, and cheering for the UCLA Bruins.
